Good afternoon, Hoe Street

Over the past few weeks, the Hoe Street SNT has received a number of concerns relating to the Bakers Arms area on Lea Bridge Road (E10 7EF).

These concerns include street drinking, violence against women and girls (VAWG), and aggressive begging.

During our patrols today, we were joined by an ASB officer from the council. Together, we engaged with local residents and business owners in the area to better understand their concerns and provide reassurance.

We want to make it clear that we are aware of the issues and are taking steps to address them. Our aim is to restore this location to what it should be — a safe and welcoming space where everyone can sit, rest, and spend time comfortably.
